In a dramatic and unprecedented disruption, Two Members of Knesset Ayman Odeh and Ofer Kassif were physically removed from the Israeli parliament after shouting “Recognize Palestine” during a speech by visiting U.S. President Donald Trump.
The incident occurred as Trump was addressing a special session of the Knesset, touting the strength of the U.S.-Israel alliance and his administration’s commitment to peace. As Trump spoke about regional security, Odeh and Kassif started shouting “Recognize Palestine”.

The chamber, which had been filled with applause moments before, erupted into a mixture of loud boos and shouts of condemnation from other lawmakers. Ushers and security personnel quickly converged on Odeh and Kassif. After a brief but tense struggle, they forcibly escorted the protesting MPs from the hall. Video footage shows Odeh and Kassif being dragged through a side door as they continued to shout.
