CCTV Footages Show Manhattan Shooting by Shane Devon Tamura
On July 28, 2025, a 27-year-old gunman, Shane Devon Tamura, opened fire in a Midtown Manhattan office building, killing four people—including an off-duty NYPD officer. Among the victims was Officer Didarul Islam, a 36-year-old veteran from Bangladesh, who was fatally shot while confronting the attacker. The other victims included two men and a woman. Armed with an assault rifle, Tamura ended the rampage by taking his own life.
